One of the international vision care companies is looking for Area Sales Manager.


  • Plan and implement customer visits to meet Sales Objective, in line with customer segmentation guidelines;
  • Retain existing customers and develop their ‘share of wallet’ and product mix, quickly identifying reductions in customer turnover and taking remedial action;
  • Acquire and retain new customers;
  • Apply a sales approach which focuses on customer needs and partnering with them to create business growth;
  • Respond to customer requests for support efficiently, effectively and promptly;
  • Complete required reports on time and accurately;
  • Maximise visibility of the Hoya brand in stores;
  • Provide to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) information on customer profiles, competitor activities and market trends;
  • Organise and run training events for customers, participate in exhibitions and other corporate events, sometimes outside of normal office hours;
  • Carry out any reasonable additional tasks assigned by the RSM.


  • Relevant optical experience;
  • A minimum of 2 years business-to-business sales experience preferred;
  • The ability to communicate in English is preferred;
  • Relevant optical knowledge;
  • Ability to influence others;
  • Selling and negotiation skills;
  • Clearly communicate verbally, in writing and using presentation tools;
  • Can efficiently organise time and tasks;
  • MS Office;
  • Commercial thinker;
  • Can analyse and interpret data;
  • Desire to learn and develop skills;
  • Willing to travel and frequently stay away from home.
