International company is looking for HR Manager
Take ownership of and drive the HR Strategy, providing leadership, direction and expertise for the full scope of the HR function including employee relations, talent acquisition and development, reward and employee engagement.
Coach, develop and challenge the Regional Management Team and line managers on all HR related activities and on people leadership, ensuring legal and corporate compliance.
Lead and direct the personnel team in Kazakhstan to achieve their objectives and proactively support the business.
Management of the team shall include managing their learning and development, setting the standards for competency, coaching and mentoring and performance management.
Oversee and manage the recruitment and staffing programme for Kazakhstan
- providing manpower planning support to the Hiring Managers and Projects Teams, coordinating large scale mobilisation projects, interviewing candidates for senior positions with the Hiring Managers and making hiring recommendations.
Ensure that accurate job descriptions are available for each vacancy and full business approval is in place
Negotiate terms and conditions and work proactively with the personnel team to prepare contracts and amendments for new and/or existing employees.
Support the starters and leavers process, including development
Utilise HR/Personnel best practices to ensure that appropriate procedures are developed and adapted in the region, in compliance with RoK labour legislation and corporate policies, directives and guidelines.
Be the company’s resident expert, with regard to RoK labour legislation.
Ensure compliance with work permit terms and conditions.
Develop and maintain positive relations with the appropriate government authorities and agencies.
Ensure that statistical reports are maintained and issued to the Local Labour Department, as required.
Participate in and respond to any actions from both internal and external audits.
Full proficiency in the English language.
Number of years post qualification experience: 10 years
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal: ability to build strong relationships with and to influence stakeholders.
Experience with a company providing goods or services to clients in the oil and gas industry would be highly advantageous.
